Arie
An integral part of our service is directly linked to the
maintenance of our infrastructure. To maintain a training venue
that sometimes hosts up to four teams per day, can be very
challenging. Maintenance is something you miss if it is not in
place, but is seldom appreciated when it is in order. Since Ari
joined the team, his presence has immediately been appreciated
by his unwavering commitment to excellence.
Astrid
Venturing into the unknown world of the Hospitality industry is
a breeze…when you have Astrid in your team. This remarkable
person soon became our icon as the TBI hostess.
Chris
Chris is the founder and Executive Director of the Team Building
Institute.
His doctoral dissertation, which examines the role adventure
experiences play in corporate team- building, led to the
formation of the Team Building Institute that has earned national
and international recognition in the field of adventure-related
experiential learning (AEL).
Dr. Heunis has received extensive coverage on national radio and
television interviews.
The ’Island of Healing™’ ropes courses that the TBI constructs,
have ensured that his name is widely recognized in the Human
Resources arena.
Idah
Since accommodation was introduced as part of the TBI service
offering we desperately needed someone to provide this delicate
service. Aida has set a high standard since she has joined the
TBI family.
Karla
Without a strong brand, no business can survive. Karla turns our
vision into reality. This graphic designer of note knows how to
turn a website-browse into an informative experience; providing
clients with corporate gifts that quickly becomes a trend. The
TBI-newsletter has a readership of more than a thousand hits.

Effective Corporate Governance demands financial expertise.
Mariet (Financial Manager) displays an exceptional understanding
of the intricacies of business finance and governance in
general. Since she joined the TBI team we came to realise that
she has more to offer than just balancing our books. We
appreciate her warm and friendly personality and commitment to
the TBI cause.
Petra
Petra discovered her passion for people and adventure while
working at a summer camp in the United States. She successfully

masters the technique to creating learning opportunities in a fun
way. He is well-equipped to facilitate at any level of seniority

Riëtte
The friendly voice on the other side is that of Riette when you
call TBI. Organising our diaries and liaison with clients
demands focus and commitment. Riette further renders support in
the day-day functioning of the TBI office. Her love for the
outdoors and commitment to a healthy life style is obvious when
you meet her in person.
